My daughter had a consultation today. No x-rays were done there. They were sent from another dental office. Dr already knew that the nerve was wrapped around the wisdom tooth, he still had her come in, took $125 then told her he couldn’t take it out because of the nerve issue, it “wasn’t infected but had decay.” Really? Are you that desperate that you are stealing from customers? Why even have her come in when you already knew you weren’t going to take her tooth out! This is taking advantage of people. Next day, went to Seaford DE dentist where they told her she had an infection and will take it out after antibiotics. Seriously?? So if my daughter dies from an infection because you said she didn’t have one and she didn’t get treatment in time you sure would have paid the price with a lawsuit! I wouldn’t refer this facility to anyone I care about. They were even asking her what insurance she had. They don’t even take insurance so why ask?! Maybe this office steals and discriminates ! Horrible place! Poor communication skills by front desk. I was told one price for my visit. After I was checked in I was told a bigger amount because the X-rays they received weren’t good enough. The woman at the front desk actually lied to me. Tried telling me they didn’t receive the X-rays until Friday afternoon. Which my dentist office is closed on Fridays so they received the “nonvisable X-rays” before then. Not even to mention how rude she was! I Will not be returning back to this place.

At eleven o'clock on June 21, 2024 I called Dr. Archer's office to schedule an apt. The receptionist, Linda, was cruel to me. She spoke to me harshly as I was trying to make an appointment. I could not get past her behavior in order to get an appointment. I hung up and called another oral surgeon provider in another town here on the peninsula. I was welcomed by the other office and was given an apt that will be for next week.

I had a really positive experience at Dr. Ascher’s office. They scheduled my appointment rather quickly. As I was experiencing some pain prior to my appointment, every time I called they were quick to help and follow up. My extraction was quick and painless and the hygienist helped to calm me down as I was very nervous.

Very clean and very friendly staff and doctor. They made everything so simple and pain free. I had two wisdom teeth extractions and was in and out in 15 minutes! I had minimal pain and no swelling
